In recent years PowaKaddy have enjoyed impressive sales growth all over the world and the main reason would appear to be that the brand now attracts golfers of all age groups. In fact recent analysis of PowaKaddy’s consumer base has revealed that the fastest growth sector is the 30-45 year old age category.

As David Wells, PowaKaddy’s Sales Director explains "The average age is plummeting as the idea that a PowaKaddy is a seniors only product is fading very fast. In fact it has all but disappeared as the new look PowaKaddy range suits all tastes, needs, pockets and age groups". So how has PowaKaddy shaken off the seniors only tag? "It is down to introducing more user friendly designs like the Freeway and innovative products like the RoboKaddy, combined with a new sportier image and golfers realising that there are genuine game improvement benefits to be derived from using a PowaKaddy. It has become a ‘must have’ product for the serious golfer" added Wells.

What the experts say:

The Retailer
My PowaKaddy sales increased substantially last year. I have no doubt it’s because younger people are seeing the benefits of the products. All kinds of people are now coming in to my shop and buying PowaKaddys from the usual Senior's market to the younger category one players who want to play 36 in a day."

David Regan, West Byfleet GC

The Good Amateur
"Using a PowaKaddy gives me a definite advantage playing competitive tournament golf - my partners are flagging, yet I feel very fresh and don't hit too many loose shots towards the end, which can happen when you start to feel tired."

Christopher Cousins, Handicap 2, Junior Captain 2004,Worsley Park GC, Player of the Year 2002

The Journalist
"With a smart new image, PowaKaddy's product range is no longer the preserve of the over 50's.The remote control RoboKaddy is the ultimate toy for those who want the very latest gadgets and the great thing is that not only will your ‘course cred’ move up a notch but your game should benefit too. No more lugging your bag around or pulling your trolley, saving your energy for actually hitting the ball!"

John McKenzie, Associate Editor, Today’s Golfer magazine

The Ryder Cup Doctor
"Golfers need to be aware of good posture and avoid putting undue strain on their golfing muscles. It cannot be helpful to be constantly picking up a golf bag and placing it on the shoulder repeatedly for four hours, or indeed dragging a pull cart around a golf course. Even among the young, fit and healthy, it can lead to muscle strain, especially in the back and shoulders."
